Defused Magazine

Photoshoot

I would like my photoshoot to be based in a studio, with a black and white background, and people playing guitars, or surrounded by drum kits. Also with a group of people for the audience, or as friends supporting the band.
Another idea would be based leaning out of a car with drum kits and guitars crammed inside, to me this impolys a band that is touring and trying to make it in the business, with only their determination to get them by.

My Magazine.

My magazine is going to be based around magazine's such as Kerrang! and NME. It is going to have a rock based theme, and be based on gig and festival reviews. It will also have talk about new and upcoming bands, and answer any questions people may have about certain musicians. It will also have many photos of gigs and festivals too break up any writing in the magazine.

For the masthead, as shown I have two idea’s for names, and have picked out two fonts which I think would work well with the house style of the magazine. I have chosen these as I believe they give off an edgy and rock like feel. One of them is quite skinny but yet still gives a "i dont care what you say" look; where as the other is more chunky and defying. I also feel that it would be relatively easy to find a font that would go with them. I chose the names as they seem quite blunt and out there which is what i believe rock magazines are all about.

I have chosen the names as they are words associated with things that are not of the generic way, or of something

House style

I wish to have the main colours of the magazine as black, white and grey. The background of the magazine will be black, the writing white and any main headings or subheadings as grey.
I would like the font of the magazine to be something quite rock like and a bit edgy and obviously something that would go with the masthead.
